Stalking The Chakra Field Recoils

by | Jul 14, 2023 | No Comments

Before a Completion Stage realization can emerge, we may suffer an array of unconscious reflexes in the chakra fields that recoil us from our midline potency. These reflexes occur when we are not dwelling in an embodied consciousness. Put another way, recoils efferently react to get us away from the potency.

Completion Stage implies that we have chosen to descend with our consciousness and dwell inside the cells of the body. This is enfleshment, or the second birth.

When touching, we share Completion Stage with others
in a non-separate field of mutuality as Communion

Mutuality unites polar opposite masculine and feminine principles that together create a fulcrum
- a dynamic tension of opposites -
that alchemically transmute our shadows to gifts

When we integrate the fulcrum that unites the opposites, all hierarchies dissolve in mutuality.

After we choose to dwell in mutuality, it eliminates the ego's efferent recoil strategies that avoid potency. Instead, we choose to be guided by our inner-body wisdom that unites with consciousness and love.

By dwelling inside the heart-field in mutuality, we enjoy an inner body-felt communion with all that is. Although enfleshment is our second birth, without dwelling in mutuality, we risk aborting our second birth and suffering an endless array of recoils to the potency.

Second births occur during Meditation, Master Classes, Stillness Touch, and in Private Intensive's

If we do not choose to descend into the body and dwell in mutuality we remain stuck in the dualistic polar extremes that recoil us from enfleshment.

When dwelling in mutuality
we do not offer medical touch
that separates all things

In mutuality, the ego is NOT in charge, the ego is not the center of our perception, and the ego is not the sovereign principle that governs our life.

The ego does not drive the bus of our life

The ego's job is to separate all things by artificially breaking them into parts, which creates an inner war. Thus, we do not serve the recipient's ego nor subscribe to allopathic to the following medical principles: 'we are separate from one another; the body is a machine that we manipulate; and we conceal ‘personal’ information from one another ... for safety!'

Philosophically, medicine makes no sense

Communion arises if we dwell in the unifying field of the mutual realization that the body is consciousness and love.

Mutuality is an embodied neutral field
that emanates a vertical column of
stillness-as-consciousness
this is the midline.

No Access To Midline?

Without access to the midline, there is no protective fulcrum, and we can become playthings of inertia that recoils and diminishes the potency. If the strength of our Soul collapses under the weight of efferent inertial recoils, we become stuck in the disembodied peripheral domain of hyperfeminine consciousness and we become overly passive and paralysed. Or, we may become overly aggressive because we dwell in the ascending planes of a hypermasculine consciousness.

If we dwell in the empty void of either polar extreme
we loose access to the midline,
which triggers recoils to the potency
that increase our separation from source.

Mutuality emanates a neutral midline of stillness

As mentioned, the midline does not support the ego’s narcissism so there is no point in operating in the ego’s relational field that conceals personal biographical facts from each other. In fact, we encourage the mutual sharing of our biography as a descending spiritual practice that opens the heart as an organ of perception. To counter the Superego's demonization of the sharing of personal details, we engage Biography Work, a powerful exercise that re-establishes mutuality.

Biography work involves active listening to a person who is sharing their life story. We discern how each person's journey is sacred and informed by individual and universal truths. Rudolf Steiner inspired Biography work is based in phenomenology developed by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

By contrast, allopathic medicine keeps personal information secret because as ego’s, 'we are separate from others who may be an enemy.' Hence, medicine misuses the threat of separation, isolation, and terror as a means of control. Unconscious terror paralyzes our will and we become zombies who serve the anti-life forces. Fear is epidemic, like an infectious cancer that exponentially increases the number of human zombies on our planet each day. Nearly a century ago, Sri Aurobindo, Rudolf Steiner, and other descending current heart masters predicted this epidemic.

How to Discern Recoils in a Recipient

We determine the degree that inertial forces are in charge by discerning how much recoil there is.

Being under the control of inertia
is the opposite of dwelling in neutral
Inertia recoils the potency - while neutral builds it

Recoil is a specific sign that indicate anti-life forces are in control.

First Discernment

Ask yourself: Have recoils diminished the potency, co-opted our Soul forces, and so weakened our thinking, felt-sense, and will that the Three Beasts - doubt, hatred, and terror - have emerged?

Recall that the Psychotic Core is a complex of the Superego that co-opts the Soul forces of thinking, felt-sense, and will by turning them into their shadow expressions that Rudolf Steiner coined the Three Beasts. When the beast controls three Soul forces they express the following:

Doubt is a head center shadow of thinking.
Hatred is a heart center shadow of the felt-sense.
Terror is a pelvic center shadow of the will.

Steiner's Esoteric Lessons 1-5 graphically characterize the qualities of the Three BeastsClick Here

Take for example doubt, the beast of thinking in the head-center. Doubt can become hypocrisy or arrogance, which indicate that the head center has been co-opted by doubt.

Here is a practical example. A recipient shares intimate personal details of sessions they had with a practitioner. They describe how sensual, erotic, and Shakti-filled the sessions felt. In the field of mutuality, it is fine to share intimate details with others who dwell in the same room of consciousness. However, if that recipient accuses others of an ethical breach because they shared personal information about them despite that they shared the intimate details about their sessions with someone else in the mutual field, such an accusation epitomizes hypocrisy.

We need Discernment to See the Recoils in Recipients

In mutuality, our discernment reveals recoils.
Discernment only emerges if we let in the Shiva.
Consciousness-as-Shiva bestows to us a capacity to discern.

Shiva's Gift of Discernment

Shiva is the illuminative consciousness that gifts us with the perceptual clarity to see what is. For example, when a recipient's chakra fields are being co-opted by the inertial forces of the empty void, Shiva illuminates to what degree the anti-life forces are in control of a recipient's three primary centers of potency in the head, heart, pelvis. With discernment, we see how deeply inertia has taken over the Soul forces of thinking, felt-sense, and will.

When the heart becomes our organ of perception
Shiva emerges

Discernment grows stronger each time we face and remain unwaveringly present to the anti-life forces we encounter. In other words, we cultivate gifts that build insight, discrimination, and discernment each time we face and can be with the astral (emotional) bombs that explode whenever a recipient is unprepared to be with the depth of their own shadows. Sometimes an under-prepared recipient bypasses contact with the potency by rushing into a depth that they are NOT capable of navigating. When this classic spiritual bypass builds in intensity, it unleashes emotional explosions from our hidden shadows.

When these explosive recoils manifest, we can ask ourselves 'How much inertia is expressing in this recipient's chakra fields?'

Why the Discernment of Inertia is Important

Without Shiva's gift of discernment, we may become an unconscious plaything, a zombie of the empty void. Our disembodied Superego magnetically pulls anti-life forces inside our subtle body, and these inertial forces recoil our consciousness away from the potency. Recoils block the potency that freely overflows with life-force and pulses inside every cell in the body.

According to embodied healing disciplines,
stagnant life-flow that is the cause of all dis-ease.

If we possess Shiva's gift of discernment, we clearly see the degree that the empty void possesses a person: we can observe the depth and the frequency of the recoils to potency that, as visible reflexive involuntary movements, control the chakra fields and therefore, the body.

Here, depth refers to the degree that inertia controls the body and blocks the potency by co-opting our Soul forces of thinking, felt-sense, will.

Unwinding

NOTE: Unwinding is not a topic in biodynamic cranial osteopathy or post-biodynamics. I discuss it only because unwinding invaded our Prague group field under the influence of a cranial teacher and her students in 2022.

Prior to that class, the last time I witnessed unwinding was in the 1998 in Hugh Milne's classes. Can you imagine seeing unwinding in a post-biodynamic group field for the first time in 25 years?

After witnessing unwinding in the 2022 Prague classes, I asked 20 biodynamic osteopaths in my France class about unwinding. They did not know what it was, nor had they ever seen it.

Later, I asked some Prague class participants if they could tell me why unwinding occurred. Here is what I was told:

The local Prague "biodynamic" cranial teacher offers a training module designed to unwind students to realize the second birth:

Four people unwind one person to evoke the second birth.

Unwinding. by definition, is a functional practice. If taught as a biodynamic modality, it reveals that the 'biodynamic' teacher got kinked and their Superego is in control. Like any megalomaniac, they assert things like the following

'Since I am the Guru, I make the rules: functional unwinding is the way to realize our second birth.'

I have more to say about the impact that megalomaniac teachers have on their students in the new Stillness Touch Immersion Study Guide, Master Class 3 section:

www.dynamicstillness.com/product/stillness-touch-immersion

What Is Unwinding?

Unwinding

To put unwinding in perspective let's look at overwhelm. An overwhelmed client can go into shutdown (freeze response) like a possum playing dead. They can also dissociate from their bodily sensations and exhibit an 'expressed dissociation' characterized by unconscious disembodied gross body movements that mechanically repeat, sometimes in a wild fashion, accompanied by dramatically expressed emoting. This is known as unwinding in functional cranial work, which is touted as a deep therapeutic process.

But in biodynamics, unwinding movements are reflexive responses to stress mediated by the autonomic nervous system as a sympathetic defense mechanism. If unwinding gets triggered in neutral or during primary respiration, it is a call for help that confesses the client’s inability to arrive at a resolution for something she is encountering that is introduced into her system. Unwinding is a warning signal that overwhelm is near, and your client risks being traumatized.

Unwinding can occur if the client is defended. Also, unwinding occurs when the practitioner pushes or leads the client to make something happen; it is often innocent. But there are practitioners very skilled at unwinding who overtly brag about “popping” the client, meaning that they triggered them into an intensely emotional bodily unwinding process.

Not surprisingly, I receive the most virulent feedback from practitioners who are addicted to trauma management who totally disagree with the biodynamic disposition on unwinding. But, there is no way to argue with a practitioner who has not broken through their own "practitioner efference threshold.”

Frankly, this is not my opinion, it is a fact in biodynamic cranial osteopathy, which will reveal itself as such only when a practitioner stops 'doing to' a client and instead, they abide in neutral with the client in mutuality. The only time I see unwinding in a biodynamic session is when the client has already been conditioned to express it, and even then, if it is not engaged by the practitioner, unwinding frizzles out on its own. Otherwise, I have not seen unwinding in a biodynamic session, nor do I know any biodynamic osteopaths who have observed it.

~ Modified from Stillness Appendix 2: Unwinding

Upledger's Craniosacral Therapy and Milne's Visionary Cranial Sacral work teach unwinding in their classes. Practitioners are taught to specifically evoke unwinding in clients who then display visible bodily motions and emotions as a therapeutic method for transformation. However, as mentioned, in osteopathic biodynamic cranial and post-biodynamics, these visible bodily motions are seen as neurological reflex patterns of repeating inertial motions that recoil us from the fractal expressions of life. Clearly, unwinding is functional, not biodynamic.

Unwinding is a Bypass Strategy to Recoil the Potency

Visible inertial motions of recoil are NOT therapeutic, they are anti-biodynamic forces.

General Chakra Recoils

Chakra recoils alert a practitioner that the recipient is suffering mental, psycho-emotional, and physical imbalances.

We may see and hear the following signs of emoting: tears, sweating, quivering lips, moaning and other noises, rapid breathing or heaving breath. We see the body vibrate, shake, convulse, twitch and jerk, there are motions are in the forehead, eyes, face, jaw, lips, mouth, tongue, and chin, the neck arches and there is the lifting of the head, there are sit-up like motions, low back arching, pelvic thrusting, and movements in the arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, etc., ....

When the body visibly moves and emotes
it is a language without words
to alert us that recoils to the potency are present in different bodily areas that correlate with the chakras.

If the class group field dwells in mutuality while these visible bodily recoil motions express, we can clearly witness a vast array of recoils from the potency. During a contact demo, I will sometimes point out examples of recoil while they manifest.

Neutral Resolves Recoils

Gradually, while the potency builds in the neutral, it creates a field of stillness in which the inertial motions become smaller, less visible, and the tempo of their movements slow. The recipient's breath slows and becomes deeper. Then, all the bodily motions disappear into stillness:

whole-body stillness is the neutral

Stillness Touch escorts a recipient to neutral
- a whole body stillness -
guided by Pure Breath of Love.

However, when a person is possessed by the empty void, the potency in their body is depleted, and they become a plaything of inertia. Here, we observe the opposite:

We see the Visible bodily recoils increase
after the touch is over!

In other words, after removing the hands at the end of a session the recipient express visible inertial motion recoils. Why is there more visible inertial motion afterwards than before the session? Because the inertia took charge of the body during the session. This indicates that the recipient was not able to find neutral or be with the potency during the session. Many factors evoke recoils that prevent neutral; some are practitioner induced, and others are from recipient bypass (See Chart links below, and read Master Class 1, 2,& 3 Study Guides).

Visible inertial bodily movements are not living expressions of the potency, they are the opposite: inertial motion diminishes the potency and creates reflexive neurological recoils that take over the body, which is opposite to the living activity of the neutral in stillness.

The larger the bodily movements
the farther consciousness is from the midline.

Generally, when our consciousness is located in the periphery we are not in contact with the center, our midline. The result is our disembodied consciousness dwells in the anti-life domains of the empty void, which is the source of all the inertial motions that become disease.

When we dwell in the midline, stillness suffuses the whole body.

How Do Specific Chakra Fields Manifest Recoils to Potency?

By example, it a recoil in Chakra 7 crown when we express exalted ideas such as "I am in direct contact with a specific Deity" (Name any deity, Mother Mary, White Tara, Christ, Buddha, a Guru, you name it, etc.).

Essentially, this is a Superego assertion of 'I am special' which is a strategy that entraps consciousness in narcissism to feed it's deficient emptiness. The result is our felt-sense of separation grows stronger. Then to compensate for the subsequent deeper sense of deficiency, we invent even more fantastical assertions of our 'divine connections' .... until we become a megalomaniac 'I am a Divine instrument of the Goddess.'

Terror of the empty void is an epidemic core-wound of the Western psyche that leads to the false sense that 'I am special because of my direct personal contact with God and Goddess.'

This is what we believe!

Yet, the opposite is true: we are stuck in the empty void and dwell in dissociation amid the disembodied ascending planes.

The empty void of inertia
is the source of all recoil

We may not be aware of what is happening when recoils express in the chakra fields due a wound of false innocence, because we lack discernment because we are  not in touch with our midline (See discussion on shutting out the Shiva above). With the gift of discernment, we can clearly observe that repeating bodily motions are recoils when they emerge during contact demonstrations and Stillness Touch sessions.

Expressing visible bodily movements is a strategy to get consciousness as far away as possible from the midline and the living potency.

Here are charts to study as context for what follows:

Recoils in the Chakra Fields (From Chapter 3 Stillness Touch):

www.dynamicstillness.com/NewWebsite/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Figure-6.jpeg

Here are practitioner recoils taught in the biodynamic cranial approach and biodynamic craniosacral therapy schools. Each listed recoil places a practitioner under the ego's control, which lands them in the empty void and not in neutral. Can you imagine combining all these recoils while offering a biodynamic session?:

Fears - Neutral - Desires
See if you can integrate the recoils from the Ethics of Caring Chart with each chakra recoil listed below:

Reminder:
Chakra fields overlap, and so do the recoils

The Three Soul Forces:
Thinking (Head) - Felt-Sense (Heart) - Will (Pelvis)

  • Exalted ideas are recoils of the thinking
  • False assertions of our embodiment is a felt-sense recoil
  • Visible bodily motion is a recoil of the will

Chakra 7 - Crown Recoils

Let's look at Chakra 7 crown recoils mentioned above: beside expressing exalted ideas such as 'I am personally connected to the Deity.' I may also falsely believe that 'the Deity is guiding me to treat myself because I am her instrument.' Fantasies manifest in many other ways to puff up a deficient ego (See Chakra 4 below, particularly note the hand signals that treat specific areas of the body).

Chakra 7 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- Diminished inspiration, confusion, depression, feelings of alienation, isolation, loneliness, deficient emptiness.

- Overemphasis on needing external authority figures such as a teacher or guru for accessing spiritual wisdom or guidance. This does not invalidate teachers or gurus, yet, in our modern times we are being called to self-empower by cultivating for ourselves access to and connection with our inner Divine Authority, Will, and Guidance.

- Hesitation, or unwillingness to serve others; rather we prefer to be served by others. This is a bodily confession - we need others to help with everything we do - it is not conscious.

Chakra 7 Physical Imbalances

Senility.

Chakra 6 - Third Eye Recoils

Observable rapid eye motions (REM), blinking eyes, eyebrows move, the eyes roll up into the head, the head turns left and right and lifts up and down, arching of the neck. These visible motions in the forehead, eyes, nose, lips, jaw, face, and neck are not only rapid, they repeat the same motion patterns over and over.

Inertial patterns repeat whereas fractal patterns are never the same twice.

Chakra 6 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- Lack of concentration.

- Poor discernment, no connection with our intuition.

- Over-reliance on books, information, and sources outside of oneself, which isn’t to invalidate deep study, yet we emphasize self-empowerment by developing intuitive perception and wisdom.

- Fear, cynicism, tension, and nightmares.

- Detachment from the material world.

Chakra 6 Physical Imbalances

Headaches, eye problems.

Chakra 5 - Throat Recoils

After a contact demo, or after the Stillness Touch session is over, we observe the recipient express numerous and varied visible throat Chakra 5 recoils: rapidly changing movements and expressions of the nose-jaw-lips-mouth. The mouth opens and closes repeatedly, the showing and gnashing of the teeth, rapid breathing, making of noises, arching of the neck, to name a few.

 Chakra 5 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- Communication and speech problems.

- Lack of mental clarity.

- Overly intellectual.

- Illusions and self-deception.

- Knowledge is used unwisely, lack of discernment, depression.

Chakra 5 Physical Imbalances

Thyroid problems, digestion and metabolism is out of balance.

Chakra 4 - Heart Recoils

Observable ever-changing rapid movements of the arms, hands, and fingers. The fingers and thumbs may form what appear to be 'secret' hand signals, which resemble mundras. The hand-finger gestures seem to point to specific places on the body as though a self-treatment is being given to specific areas of their own body.

In other words, the recipient is giving themselves a treatment during a Stillness Touch session!

Who is driving the bus here?

Who (or what) is in charge of that self-session?

Is it the ego, the neutral, the living potency, or Pure Breath of Love?

NOTE: As mentioned, we can see how one chakra recoil combines with other chakra recoils. For example, We can correlate Chakra 7 and Chakra 4 when there is an idea that 'a Divine Deity is treating me by using my hand gestures to treat areas on my body.'

Chakra 4 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- Repression of love.

- Emotional instability, out of balance, and out of harmony with life.

- Unable to shift between polar extremes, long transitions times are required.

- Narcissism, overly concerned with the self, me.

- Feeling separate from others, our body, and life.

- Restless wandering.

- Lack of concern for the larger evolutionary perspective of a mutual group consciousness.

- Misplaced devotion or affections; either physical, emotional, or spiritual in nature.

- Unhealthy, or inappropriate projection of love (or hate) onto others; trying to retrieve one's own lack of self-love from external sources.

Chakra 4 Physical Imbalances

Heart and circulation problems.

Chakra 3 - Solar Plexus Recoils

Observable whole-body convulsions that resemble sit-ups, hands placed on the solar plexus and gut region, the knees are bent, there is moaning, whole-body shaking, twitching, undulating, and trembling.

Chakra 3 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- We take in more than we can assimilate and utilize physically, emotionally, or mentally.

- Over-identified with the lower psychic abilities of the astral planes.

- Too much emphasis placed upon pursuits of power, or gaining personal recognition.

- Pride, vanity, and overly controlling.

- Competition and power struggles with others.

- The pursuit of self-centered goals and ambitions.

- Abuse of power.

- A lack of enthusiasm for life.

- An overcompensated need for external stimulation to feel alive.

- Overly intellectual at the expense of one's instincts, needs, feelings, or intuition.

- Fear, cowardice, lack of confidence.

- Anger, hate, impulsiveness, rashness, violence.

- Passions are out of control.

- Blocks in the feelings, emotions, sensations, and recoils of our Eros to prevent it from rising from the pelvis up to the heart, ... by being judgmental, critical, and controlling of our erotic feelings and of others.

- Creating separation and opposition due to an unconscious need to uphold one's illusion of power by trying to prove one's self worth.

- Giving one's power away to external authority figures.

- Lack of healthy boundaries, negative vulnerability.

- Lack of strength and vitality, fatigue.

- Inability to relax and slowdown; always pushing forward and outward.

Chakra 3 Physical Imbalances

Digestive problems, ulcers, symptoms in the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and stomach. Addiction to stimulating substances.

Chakra 2 - Pelvis Recoils

Expressing visible pelvic thrusts and pelvic arching, sensuous noises, panting and breathing, the bending of the knees, fetal position.

Chakra 2 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- Lack of acceptance and love for one's emotional self, the rejection of our Inner Child's basic feelings and needs.

- An imbalance in one's ability to give and receive.

- Fear of intimacy.

- Blocking of and repressing one's feelings, desires, sensations, and sensitivity.

- Over-identification with the physical body.

- Extreme behaviors due to a suppression or over-indulgence of food, sex, or pleasure.

- Irresponsible, inappropriate, and excessive pursuit of sensual and sexual gratification.

- Misuse of sexual energy, using sex to control, manipulate, gain security, or artificially inflate one’s self-esteem.

- Feelings of lack, of being insufficient, inadequate, ... 'I am not enough.'

- Greed, jealousy, and envy to over-compensate for inner feelings of lack, deficient emptiness, and inadequacy.

- Misuse of manipulation, possessiveness, attachment, and deceit to get what one desires.

- Fear of change, lack of fluidity, unable to flow with life's ever-changing circumstances.

- Feelings of emptiness, purposelessness, victim-hood.

- Rigidity, confusion, lethargy, restlessness.

- Lack of humor.

- Addictions due to inner feelings of lack and the sense of separateness.

- Sexual impotence and frigidity due to repressed emotions and fear of sexual issues.

Chakra 2 Physical Imbalances

Uterine, bladder, kidney problems, stiff lower back. Sexual difficulties.

Chakra 1 - Root Recoils

Trembling and visible movements of the legs, knees, ankles, feet and toes.

Again, similar to Chakra 7, recoils can manifest as an imaginary personal “connection” to a specific Deity, accompanied by the false notion that the Deity is treating me by using my unique hand gestures.

When recoils express repeating motion patterns at the end of every contact demo or each Stillness Touch session, after taking the hands off it is inertial motion. Why? Because when bodily motions repeat the same pattern over and over, it is inertial motion. Living motions are ever-new never repeating fractal patterns. Inertial (anti-life) motions are repeating reflexes from the nervous system (See Chapter 3 Chart in Stillness Touch).

Chakra 1 Mental-Emotional Imbalances

- No access to one's personal power, no initiative.

- Unable to individuate or break away from inherited family, tribal, racial or social attitudes, beliefs, and behavior patterns.

- Out of touch with nature, loss of contact with the earth.

- Denial of the physical body's needs.

- A sense of lack, a belief that one does not deserve to have love.

- Attachment, clinging, grasping, and hoarding.

- Over-emphasis on physical survival, finances, possessions, material comfort, security.

- A felt-sense of powerlessness. To overcompensate we need to exert power or control over others; feelings of being overpowered by someone or something outside oneself; a need to possess others as objects; an urge to dominate, manipulate, or destroy.

- Feelings of being overwhelmed by the intensity of life.

- Feelings of alienation or separation.

- Unable to deal responsibly with the basic details of daily life.

- Restlessness, inability to focus upon tasks, lack of patience, stability, groundedness, and consistency.

- Self- centeredness, fear, insecurity, frustration, anger.

- Violence, greed, and delusion.

- Too much inertia or lethargy.

- No desire to change, or to expand one's consciousness.

Chakra 1 Physical Imbalances:

Tension in the spine. Lower back pain. Sciatica. Constipation, rectal, gut, and digestive problems. Problems with the bones, legs, knees.  Eating disorders.

Now let's address some of the other issues that may arise, particularly our tendency to dwell in one or the other polarity rather than neutral .

Suppose you were make a declaration to never trust anyone blindly, which is a healthy impulse. To apply this principle of 'no Guru' in your everyday life is a sign that the Shiva might have slipped into your consciousness.

It is NOT appropriate in our modern times to blindly trust or follow anyone: the Guru days are OVER.

The modern Soul’s path to enfleshment is rooted in mutuality as a union of body, consciousness, and love.

I am happy to offer Private Intensives, because aspects of our true nature (our software operating system) are illuminated. Given that Stillness Touch is path is for Knowing Thyself, such revelations are satisfying.

Stillness Touch is laying on of the hands
It is not a cranial training to learn specific contacts that heal

The Grail Journey is not a comfortable, love, light, bliss-filled exploration into the disembodied ascending planes where we unite with the Deities.

Rather, the Grail Journey is uncomfortable because, by design, it exposes hidden places in the body that recoil us away from the potency, the neutral, the midline, harmony, Wholeness, and love.

If we observe the recoils in each chakra, we can see where in the body and on which domain of consciousness we reject fundamental aspects of our true nature. What are these fundamental aspects?

Below are examples of polar opposite principles that revolve around a neutral midline of stillness:

Masculine - Midline - Feminine
Consciousness - Midline - Love
Ida - Sushumna - Pingala
Shiva - Sushumna - Shakti

Our fundamental principle:
polar opposites surround a midline of stillness,
which is the neutral or Sushumna

During our shadow work, we share our biography, including aspects of our traumas. For example, I may ask you questions about not letting the Shiva or the Shakti in. If that enquiry goes nowhere, I may confront you in a direct personal way to provoke an honest response to illuminate a hidden truth. I will clearly state that I am personally asking you a 'what if' question to provoke an honest answer. If such an enquiry unveils a deep truth, for example with regards to a 'bottom line’ such as 'I will never let the Shiva in' then a direct enquiry is worth the risk of being misinterpreted.

If a direct confrontation successfully unveils a harsh reality, it is worth it. For example, let's look at the consequences of a 'what if' situation.

Let's say I took a permanent life-long vow 'I will never let the Shiva in.'

Given that vow, if you were to ask me if I would be happy to navigate that, I'd say yes, if our shadow navigation brought to light an event that happened which evoked my trauma and the subsequent fear that led me to take a life-long vow to shut out 50% of my true nature - the Shiva - or consciousness. On one hand, it is satisfying because a direct enquiry exposed the strength of the vow I took. Yet, do you suppose that knowing I shut out the Shiva makes me “happy"? It breaks my heart. Why?

Because NOT letting the Shiva all the way into my body guarantees that I loose access to the midline, and I become a victim to the harshness of modern life.

Hyperfeminine

This will not be pleasant to read, but vowing to shut out the Shiva leads to the hyperfeminine disposition. This state of consciousness implies an utter collapse of the will, which leaves us helpless and unable to take a stand. In other words, we would be incapable of  such a stand as the Buddha's vow 'I will not move'  in response to being taunted by horrifying Demons and tempted by beautiful Dakinis.

Please read more on the hyperfeminine, pages 88, 119, 126, 127, 128, in Stillness Touch.

The Hyperfeminine disposition is epidemic in places like the San Francisco Bay Area, where there are large numbers of the New Age movement who ‘think' they are enlightened by the Goddess.

Unfortunately, if we are stuck in a hyperfeminine disposition, it leaves us vulnerable, helpless, and unable to navigate the harsh realities of modern society by ourselves. In fact, we are unable to thrive on our own in the modern world, so we repeatedly ask other people to rescue us!

Have you experienced or seen this?

Hypermasculine

By contrast, the hypermasculine disposition thrives in modern society. For example, a student who came to study Stillness Touch, spent all their free time getting dates. The result: the person slept on day-1 class during the meditation and the session exchanges. Spending energy on dating, instead of concentrating on studying Stillness Touch is due to a hypermasculine wound.

You may not like reading this, but if you have been lured by someone who dwells in the hypermasculine field, and it deeply influences you, it confesses your lack discernment.

Having no discernment is one of the wounds or consequences of banishing the Shiva. Another, more serious, side-effect of not letting Shiva in is little or no illumination of the shadows that prevent Wholeness.

Why? Because the Shiva is the illuminative principle of consciousness.

If we consciously choose to banish the Shiva unconditionally and life-long, then it is correct to cease training in Stillness Touch.
